Current Officers

Addison Randolph, President

Addisyn Randolph received her bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering and in Mathematics from LeTourneau University in 2021 and is pursuing a PhD in mathematics at FAU. She is currently serving as the President of out student chapter.  Her research interests are focused on Dynamical Systems and Celestial Mechanics. In her free time, she enjoys crafting like sewing or crocheting and learning to dance.

 

 

Rosemary Yool-Vidal

Rosemary Yool-Vidal, Vice-President

Rosemary Yool-Vidal is currently serving as the Vice President for the AWM FAU Student chapter. She received her bachelor's degree in mathematics here at FAU in 2023 and is pursuing a PhD in Pure Mathematics. In her free time, she enjoys listening and dancing to Latin music, being outside in nature, and is always down for a good matcha 🍵.

Veronika Kuchta (Faculty liaison)

Dr. Kuchta received her Ph.D. degree in PhD in Applied Cryptography, University of Surrey, United Kingdom, 2016 From 2016 to 2018, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Université libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. Between 2018 and 2020, I served as a research fellow at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.  In December 2020, I joined the University of Queensland’s School of Mathematics and Physics (Brisbane, Australia) as a lecturer (equiv. Assistant Prof.)  in mathematical cryptography, a position I held until July 2022. Since November 2022, I have been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, USA.  

My research focuses on various aspects of mathematical cryptography, including post-quantum cryptography and its practical applications in real-world scenarios.
