The Mathematical Association of America hosts the annual AMC contests for middle and high school students. Its purpose is to spur interest in mathematics and develop talent through the excitement of friendly competition at problem solving in a timed format.
The American Mathematics Competitions are a series of year-long contests which begin with the AMC-10/12. High scoring students continue on to the Invitational contest (AIME), and ultimately to the Mathematics Olympiad (USAMO and USAJMO). Those students whose USAMO and USAJMO performance has qualified them for the Mathematical Olympiad Program (MOP) are invited to attend. MOP is a mathematically stimulating summer experience designed to broaden students’ views of mathematics while fostering their excitement toward further math study. This program also provides training for our current US International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) team and puts students on the path toward potentially qualifying for the IMO team next year!
The AMC 10/12B will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026 beginning at 3:30pm - Registration fee: $15
Please register by completing the form below. (Information regarding testing location will be provided to registrants). Please note that this is an in-person contest this year, so virtual proctoring will not be permitted. Please note that contest times may need to be adjusted based on room availability, if needed to change rooms. Notification of change will be sent to those who are already registered. Your official confirmation will be sent with AMC Contest Platform registration, room locations, and parking instructions prior to your contest date.

Congratulations to all participating students! The AMC Contests are very challenging! If you did not qualify for the AIME or USA(J)MO this year, please come back and try again next year.
A special CONGRATULATIONS to all who graduated in 2026! You can all look forward to the Putnam Competition, also sponsored by the AMC through the college you decide to attend.

If you or your company would like to donate to our program, please click here and select "FAU Math Days" in the "Designation" drop down to help us. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Once we are able to find sponsorships, future programs will be made available at a lower or no-cost to participants again.
