Friday, 10/16, is the last day to drop the course with a "W".  There is normal lecture on Friday.  There may or may not be a quiz on Friday depending on your instructor.

This course prepares students for MAC 1105, College Algebra.  Topics include sets, properties of real numbers, exponents and radicals, factoring of polynomial expressions, algebraic fractions, linear, quadratic and radical equations and their applications.

T   This course does not satisfy GORDON RULE mathematics gr  graduation requirement but is a necessary prerequisite for       G  GORDON RULE math courses.  This course counts as          el  elective credit only.

For sections 001, 002, 004, 005 & 006:

You are not required to purchase a textbook for this course.  You will have access to the e-book,  Intermediate Algebra for College Students, by Blitzer, Prentice Hall, 5th edition(2009), online through MyMathLab. 

For sections 003:

You are not required to purchase a textbook nor online software for this course.  Further information will be sent to you via  your FAU emails and check Blackboard for syllabus etc.
