Alan Turing Centenary
The Winter 2012 MidAtlantic Mathematical Logic Seminar will be held at the
Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort on
Jan 13-15.

- Anil Nerode, Cornell
- Gerald Sacks, Harvard and MIT
- Andre Scedrov, University of Pennsylvania
- Robert Soare, University of Chicago
There will be a special session on Turing's life and times. This will include a talk by
David Leavitt, Turing's famed biographer, as well as other special events.
Limited travel support is available. Requests for such should be directed to
Robert Lubarsky
as soon as possible and in any case before the
meeting. Such requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis within the
limits of the budget. While graduate students, young researchers, female
mathematicians and members of underrepresented groups are particularly
encouraged to apply, it should be stressed that any participants without
their own sources of funding are eligible.
