Alan Turing

Florida Atlantic University 2012 MAMLS Conference
Alan Turing Centenary

The Winter 2012 MidAtlantic Mathematical Logic Seminar will be held at the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort on Jan 13-15. The invited speakers include:

There will be a special session on Turing's life and times. This will include a talk by David Leavitt, Turing's famed biographer, as well as other special events.

Limited travel support is available. Requests for such should be directed to Robert Lubarsky as soon as possible and in any case before the meeting. Such requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis within the limits of the budget. While graduate students, young researchers, female mathematicians and members of underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply, it should be stressed that any participants without their own sources of funding are eligible.
