-- Palm Beach Campus (CCSSF-PBC)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The Contemporary Chinese School of South Florida (CCSSF) is a non-profit, non-political organization run by a group of Chinese volunteers in South Florida area since 1995. The primary mission of CCSSF is to provide formal and systematic education of the Contemporary Chinese Language (Mandarin), the simplified Chinese characters and Chinese Pinyin (the Chinese phonetics) for our young children.
The basic goal of the school is to teach students to listen, speak, read and write in Chinese. There are two semesters for each school year, Fall (Sept-Dec) and Spring (Jan-May). The CCSSF Palm Beach Campus offers classes from 1st grade to 10th grade for students at ages of 6 or older. The 10th grade (Advanced Chinese Class) is initiated for high school students, focusing on Common Knowledge of China (including Culture, History, and Geography) and SAT II test preparation. All textbooks are from mainland, China. The textbooks are specially composed for over sea Chinese education. The School hours are from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturdays.
